Homework #4: Unity & Vuforia
This is the first time I am using Unity with Vuforia. So I used the Magazine Homework and make it work in Unity. I had to use some code to make the video play over the Magazine.
Homework #3: Reveal the Unseen
This time I thought that it would be cool to use Layar to show one of the most iconic buildings of NYC that no longer exists.
It was a great experience being able to see what it would looks like at the time it exists.

My friend Michelle experienced AR using my homework for the Magazine cover and she make a video of this cool place!
At the end of the video you can see the map of Hong Kong and the blue dot of her location.
Homework #2: Augmented Magazine
FIRST WATCH THE VIDEO AND THEN YOU CAN READ.
I really didn't know what I will be doing for this homework so I went to a Magazine store at Grand Central. I didn't have any concrete idea but then I saw this magazine with big white letters that said STEAL THIS MAGAZINE and the idea came up to me. I don't really know in which category can fit this homework, I think that probably it can fit in both. It is an advertisement because it is enhancing the UX and it connect the printed media with the augmented content but also it is an artistic intervention when at the end the magazine transform to a prisoner sign. I used Pixelmator, Final Cut Pro X and Aurasma.

It was a rainy afternoon, when my family and I were going to “The table of Saints” (La mesa de los Santos), a mountain situated in the East Andes in Colombia. We were in the car and the rain was getting heavier and the wind was very strong. There were leaves and sticks flying. We stop near a ruined house but because of the storm we move the car some meters from the house because we were afraid the walls collapse. Then the unexpected happens, a power pole, that was 3 meters away from the car, broke in front of us and the wires flashed. It was really dangerous so we had to head back.
