I got this on my VERY 1st search- and this result was at the top of the page.....
You need to know as much as possible b4 you start. Being able to see what someone else did, b4 you start "trying to do it", could save you sooooooooooo much time and money. You can see what works and where their project needs improvement. Maybe it does not work at all. If you were really trying to make an app for the market you would study the other projects. Who are their user's? [this is sooooooooooooooooooooo valuable!!!!!!!!], their reviews, etc.... You should email or call them and try to get information. You could act as an investor.... then they might tell you all the good parts... are they profitable? The most important question is, how do they make money? Sometimes they will tell you if you ask the right questions. and they will if u ask the right questions.
