Leaves have different colors in different seasons. Winter has no leaves
    1. Do you take Bio class this semester/ Have you ever taken any Bio classes? Can you describe it?
No/ science class. Teach basic science knowledge with a little experiment.
    1. How do you know greenhouse effect/Co2 emission?
    No/ Heard of it.
    1. How do you know the relationship between plants and our earth?
Plants are good for the earth.
    1. Have you ever grown any plants?/ Have you ever plant a tree before?

    Friends, families play it.
    1. Have you ever played Tamagotchi? Or any virtual pet? Do you like it? Why? Why you don’t like it?
    No
    1. If there’s an app that allows you to have your own forest (and you can bring it to alive if you complete all the task), what you need to do is to collect leaves(take photos of real leaves) to redeem seeds to plant the tree virtually at first, and after you have grown the tree to meet the standards, you can have an actual tree with your name in reality, and you can plant it anywhere in the world,  would you like to scavenger hunt for it?
Yes, I would like to have a virtual tree,
    1. From 1 to ten, Can you rate the device you like to use below: IPad, smartphone, PC
    Cell phone --Ipad-- PC
    1. From 1 to 10, can you rate the time of using the device below: iPad, smartphone, pc
    Ipad-Cell phone -- PC
Insights: Kids from K4-8 have a very limited and basic idea about the CO2 emission and greenhouse effect. They have very limited knowledge about how does the plant could benefit the environment as well. Most of their knowledge is from their parents or small workshops the teachers offered at the school. No systematic understanding of the target knowledge. As of the leaf identification, they have very basic idea about how to determine different leaves by comparing its form and color. Most of the 4-8 kids haven’t played pokemon go before, which is to say, they know little about AR technology. Also, they haven’t had virtual pets, which means they might need time to learn about the game and how it plays. However, most of them know about the game, which means they can take it to consider more easily. Kids love to have their own, real tree, but they don’t love to take care of it, so a virtual tree and a real tree which can be taken care of by others as a reward work better.

The MVP Plan

Our plan for the first stage of the design is to make this prototype to be clickable, with the key moments of the UX. AR will be fully testing it out in the second stage.
UX key moments include:
Login page
Homepage
Scan page
Info page
Collection page
Planting page
Tree growing page
Accomplishment page

Season changing page (the tree growing under different season/weather scenario)

Homework 5: Ironman

I put the ironman's suit on me.

Homework 4: Dragon Nest

There's a dragon secretly lives in the 116th st subway station, only the chosen ones can see her.

Homework 3: Watching

As social media develops, we are watched by many eyes no matter where, and no matter we want it or not. My idea came from the movie "Nerve", which mainly attacks cybercrime.

Homework 2: Spiderman is coming!

For this week, I designed a short video of the experience that spiderman with Captain American's shield came into my home through a mirror, and jumped away after I found him. I did this because I like the movie Spiderman, and really looking forward to the next movie.

Homework1: Memory

I went to Maydays concert on November 18th in Barclays center last year. I choose this memory because this is my first time going to a concert, and Mayday is my favorite band. It was a wonderful experience, both for ears and for eyes. The songs were amazing, the audience went crazy every time they started singing and sang along with the singer. Everyone was excited, and waving the light sticks they bought from the organizer. Its like thousands of fireflies flying up and down following their beats, which was fascinating.

This is what I saw from my seat.

Theres re four people in the band, the lead singer, the guitarist, the keyboard player and the drummer.

There are three big screens. Sometimes they are showing the live scene, and sometimes they are for playing the MV for the songs.

Fun fact:
The color of the light sticks light changes as the theme of the song changes. For example, if it was a sad song, the light of the stick turned blue, and if its a rock song, it turns red. Sometimes it even shines follows the beat.

Here's the actual scene of the concert
